This week is Mining Week. I always enjoy the mine rescue competition. It is set to take place Saturday, June 12 beginning at 9:30am at the YK Arena. The Miners picnic is the same day, same location beginning at noon. Fun for the whole family.

I was out for a family bike ride along Frame Lake Trail and noticed the improvements immediately. I just wanted to send a big THANKS out to the Army Reservists from Alberta that did the work to widen the boardwalk, it's a huge improvement. Thank you.
